Costa Rica Fishing Adventures
Costa Rica - "Rich Coast" is not just named for its lush rainforest and wildlife, it is also for
its diverse ocean ecosystems as well. No doubt it is the Sport Fishermen's Paradise! In this water, it is not uncommon
to catch at least a dozen of Marlin (up to 800 lbs.) and Sailfish (from 100 to 150 lbs.) in a day during the season or
surrounded by giant school of Yellowfin Tuna (up to 450 lbs.), Wahoo (up to 100 lbs.), and Mahi Mahi (up to 60 lbs.) are
plentiful as well. Sea turtles, Whales and hundreds of Dolphins are frequently sighted along the way. Inshore year-round
residents include the famous Roosterfish (up to 100 lbs.), Snook (up to 50 lbs.), world record Pacific Cubera Snapper,
Grouper, Jack, and too many different species to name.
Accommodations will be arranged at the Hotel Punta Islita, a 5 stars gated resort (on the Pacific north side), which is one of
the most beautiful places in the world to stay. With world class facilities and only minutes away from our fishing destinations.
